SOME GREAT MEN ON SWAMI VIVEKANANDAJI

                                                                  QUOTE OF THE DAY

'The masses remained mute spectator while the destiny of the nation is being decided by handful of the so-called intelligentsia who know nothing about the problems of common people and whose only claim to the authority                  they exercising are that they possessed university degree !

They in fact are more concerned about their own share in ruling the country and if they grumbled it is because they felt they did not enjoy the amount of power they deserved. What  happened to the common masses, common people_their persecution by the upper class, their ignorance, their poverty_ all these are no concern to them.

Yet they claim to speak for the whole nation. They are spineless people, who owed no allegiance to the country or it's people, who has no courage to stand up to those who insulted them or their country." In exasperation, Swami Vivekanandji described them as 'mummies' who has ceased to exist and yet continued to influence people as symbols of a glory they once possessed.'

                     SOME GREAT-MEN ON SWAMI VIVEKANANDAji.

: :   MAHATMA GANDHI__ Bapu, Father of the Nation (1869-1948)  ::

"  I have come here in Belur Math to pay my homage and respect to the revered memory of Swami Vivekananda, whose birthday is being celebrated today (6 Feb.1921). I have gone through his works very thoroughly, and after having gone through them, the love that I had for my country became a thousand-fold. I ask you, young men, not to go away empty-handed without imbibing something of the spirit of the place where Swami Vivekananda lived and died."
